1770's - 1790's BRITISH CARBINE

1770's Sergeants Carbine

Loyalist Arms, is pleased to introduce our new 1770's Sergeants carbine.

These carbines, were popular for officers in the British forces during the American Revolution and
beyond in both America and Europe.
They were especially prized by the light infantry units, rangers, and the artillery units, who required a light musket that was easier
to handle, much like a fusil. Many officers had their own fusils supplied by independant gun builders at home, rather than
have to lug around a regular issue full size musket.
